Remote Accounting Assistant

Seeking an accounting assistant for a month long assignment. Must have recent experience with QuickBooks, Payable and Receivables.

Remote Accounting Assistant Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)

• Prepare and post financial transactions for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments
• Assist in billing customers, issuing credits, issuing payments, and other admin tasks related to the accounting department
• Work with Accounting Manager in maintaining company general ledger to ensure accurate bookkeeping with QuickBooks Software
• Assist in inventory transfers within Fishbowl Inventory Software and NetSuite
• Research and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments for Accounts Receivable

Remote Accounting Assistant Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and management
• 1 Years' experience in accounting/bookkeeping preferred
• Ability to work independently in remote environment and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and with as little redundancy as is practical prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year experience with QuickBooks software required
• Experience with inventory management software highly preferred
