Promote the operations of the Bullhead Belle and any participating events. This position is responsible for ensuring that guests are not bringing outside food or beverage onto the Bullhead Belle or taking alcoholic beverages from the Bullhead Belle to comply with State of Arizona Liquor Laws and Mohave County Health Department. Verifying proper identification for guests to meet the age requirement for proper alcohol consumption and correctly placing identification bracelet band, as necessary. Monitor guest levels for occupancy. Schedule may consist of early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. Minimum age requirement is 19 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of related professional experience. Valid Arizona State Driver's License, Food handler's card, and Alcohol sell/server permit as approved by the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control. Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.
Essential functions include ensuring that outside food and beverage is not brought onto the Bullhead Belle, ensuring that alcoholic beverages are not taken from the Bullhead Belle, verifying proper identification for alcohol consumption, maintaining strong communications with Marketplace General Manager and Marketplace Assistant General Manager, Leads and co-workers, displaying knowledge of safety rules and regulations, providing a fast and friendly guest experience, assisting with set up and tear down of tables, chairs, audio visual equipment and decorations for parties, events, meetings and other scheduled activities, complying with and promoting safe work practices, maintaining a clean, sanitized, guest ready environment, complying with all food regulations, monitoring occupancy levels, enforcing rules and regulations as it pertains to Marketplace, following procedures for proper opening and closing of Bullhead Belle, and representing the City of Bullhead City by always maintaining a positive professional and effective working relationship by providing exceptional customer service.
Knowledge of computer skills and knowledge of basic computer programs, proper care and use of equipment, and simple recordkeeping. Ability to work cohesively with City employees, children and adults (general public), keep appropriate records, express ideas orally and in writing while promoting exceptional customer service, and have knowledge of various programs of Marketplace activities. Skill in point of sales (POS) operation and recordkeeping, appropriate and effective customer service, public relations and special events, and mathematical skills.
