Remote Customer Service Representative

A well-established and growing financial services organization is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Remote) to join its team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong, confident personality and exceptional soft skills—especially communication. We hire based on your ability to connect with people, express ideas clearly, and handle conversations with empathy and professionalism.
Note: While this is a remote position, we are ideally seeking candidates located on the East Coast to align with business hours and team collaboration needs.
What You'll Do
Provide empathetic, accurate support to callers regarding disability, life, and leave claims.
Gather and document claim information with precision and clarity.
Issue claim acknowledgements and process incoming documents with high integrity.
Meet or exceed call center performance metrics.
Foster trust and satisfaction through genuine customer care.
Collaborate with teammates to maintain a positive and professional work environment.

What You Bring
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 6–12 months of customer service experience.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications.
Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Comfort working with telephony tools in a call center setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications (e.g., CIAC, ACS).
Bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
