Description

Summary:

Responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms. Standard expectation is to clean a minimum of 16 rooms daily.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Remove trash and soiled linens.
  • Make beds.
  • Dust and clean all furnishing.
  • Clean windows and sills
  • Clean and dust closet area.
  • Clean ice bucket and water glasses.
  • Replenish all bathroom amenities.
  • Clean tubs and shower walls.
  • Clean vanity.
  • Clean mirrors, walls, vents and pictures.
  • Clean toilet and surrounding areas
  • Clean tile floor and baseboards
  • Clean bar area
  • Vacuum room and carpet edging
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • None required
  • The primary language spoken is English; ability to read, write, understand and speak English
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States

  • Frequently required to walk and stand for long periods
  • Use hands to hold tools utilized for position
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.


Potential Work Environment Conditions

The work environment is characterized as a hotel setting requiring multi-tasking, where standard equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The immediate work environment is smoke free; however a smoking environment does exist in the building.
